Right after getting the car home

Here is what the car looked like when I got it off the truck it was shipped on. It looks pretty good and I was suprised how good it looked compared to what the description I got of it was. I thought I would have it made and have the car running in a month easy :)

I had no idea what I was getting into…..

    Hello all,
    I’m writing from Italy, I’m in love for this car and my dream is to buy one, restor it like you have done, and after hve the possibility to use the car like everydays car, but I’ve a big problem, where I can find a Manta montage? some times ago I foud one on E-bay motor but I’ve never receive saler’s replay, can you give me some information relevant where I can buy a manta montage? or if you know someonethat have and whant to sale it?
    I hope that you can help me, but also if it’s not I would like to compliment you for the fantastic restoratione that you have done.

    I recently had the opportunity to see an original proto type Manta Montage, I was told that it is one of only eigth produced before a spat between Porsche & Volkswagen stopped production. I was wondering if you might have any information about this. Yhe car is not for sale and is in original condition, needs restoring. It hasn’t been driven or started in years.Any info. would be appreciated.
